We're honored to announce the election of our Dr. Dhand to the WAIS Program Director role! The conference is planned for Oct 7-11, 2023 in Palm Springs.

Dr. Dhand has been elected as the Program Director for next years WAIS 2023 Conference. The conference is one of the biggest of its kind, and attracts interventional radiologists from around the world to attend.

With the role of designing the entire meeting program and proceedings next year, we are honored to see Dr. Dhand excel in the world of interventional radiology. The 'Save the Date' has already been published–please join us October 7-11, 2023 in Palm Springs, California!

What is the WAIS?

The Western Angiographic & Interventional Society was established to provide a forum to share new ideas in the world of interventional radiology, and to learn from each other. The outcomes of this conference have led to groundbreaking new research findings, informed the design of innovative medical products, and created an environment where minimally-invasive radiology procedures can flourish to treat a range of vascular and non-vascular diseases and conditions.

The 2023 conference marks the 53rd year of the annual conference.

How can I attend WAIS 2023?

Conference registration will open in the beginning of January 2023 for WAIS members only. Non-member registration will begin on March 1st, 2023.

How can I register for WAIS 2023 as an exhibitor?

WAIS exhibitor prospectus will become available in January 2023 as well. Interested companies can request more information by emailing susan@westernangio.org.
